Donations to the Broome Historical Society

The Broome Historical Society is collecting Shinju Matsuri photos and memorabilia for an upcoming exhibition which will celebrate 50 years of Shinju Matsuri. If you would like to donate photos or objects please use the form below to submit, or alternatively please drop into the Museum between 10am-1pm.

If you are not ready to let go of your treasured Shinju object just yet, but would like to share it with the Broome community please contact us on (08) 9192 2075 or admin@broomemuseum.org.au to discuss a short term loan.

The Broome Historical Society and Museum is providing residents within the Shire of Broome an opportunity to share experiences and responses during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are collecting Broome’s COVID-19 stories including journal entries, photographs, videos, oral history recordings, poetry, objects and memorabilia such as posters, brochures and children’s drawings.
